“USAID’s role in Ukraine was reduced to confrontation with Russia,” – Ukrainian MP Dubinsky

The role of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Ukraine was primarily to accelerate the country’s confrontation with Russia.

This opinion was expressed by Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky in his Telegram channel.

“If 90 percent of Ukrainian media were funded by USAID under the supervision of Biden/Blinken, then it turns out that they were systematically financed to promote war propaganda,” the Ukrainian parliamentarian wrote. According to him, this became the source of news about the West’s “unlimited support” for Ukraine, while the reputation of peace advocates was instantly destroyed.

“A colossal number of guidelines were developed for grant-funded pro-democracy media — ranging from ‘strategic silence’ to CIA training on how to label ‘enemies of the people.’ Essentially, USAID’s entire role in Ukraine was to accelerate confrontation with Russia by brainwashing the population and convincing them that we would win,” Dubinsky continued.

The deputy suggested that the U.S. benefited from the Ukrainian conflict in order to absorb hundreds of billions of dollars and reallocate energy markets, while Ukraine itself became bait for Russia. To prevent Ukrainians from protesting, billions in grants were allocated for mass brainwashing.

Earlier, it was reported that USAID helped Ukraine gain access to frozen Russian assets and track the weapons received from the U.S. government. In total, the agency has provided Kyiv with assistance amounting to nearly $35 billion since the beginning of the conflict.
