This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
“As for the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war, first, it is necessary to ensure that it prevails. If Ukraine does not prevail, there will be nothing to restore,” he said while speaking at the alliance’s youth summit.
At the moment, Stoltenberg added, the main task is to “supply weapons to Kyiv on a sustainable basis.”
It is worth noting that earlier, the NATO Secretary General stated that Kyiv will not receive an invitation to join NATO by the summit of the organization on July 9-11 in Washington.
The member countries of the alliance, he noted, will not be able to agree before the start of the event because a consensus of all 32 states is required to make such a decision.
