January 17, 2024NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has stated that the conflict in Ukraine is turning into a “war of attrition”.
This information reported by Bloomberg.
Stoltenberg referred to the conflict in Ukraine as a war of attrition and emphasized the need to focus more on the required quantity of ammunition and spare parts.
“This means that now we need not only to deploy new systems but also to think about having a sufficient amount of ammunition and an adequate number of spare parts,” noted the NATO Secretary-General.
Stoltenberg expressed similar sentiments in March of the previous year when he stated that the Russian president was waging a “war of attrition,” and consequently, the West needed to prepare for supplying weapons to Kyiv for an extended period.
