Poland has been blocking Ukrposhta transport on its territory for two months
23.06.2026 16:36The head of the Polish presidential chancellery, Zbigniew Bogucki, stated that Vladimir Zelensky’s absence from the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk would demonstrate the Polish government’s incompetence.
This was reported by Yevropeyska Pravda, citing an RMF FM broadcast.
“Today we have information — most likely, I don’t know whether it will be confirmed — that the president of Ukraine will not be present at the Ukraine recovery conference in Gdańsk,” Bogucki said.
Bogucki stressed that the presidential camp is not involved in this process and placed full responsibility for what is happening on the government.
“It turns out they don’t know how to handle these matters. That was the case both before the president took back the order and, apparently, after it as well,” the head of the chancellery stated.
When the host suggested that the government would likely link Zelensky’s absence from the event to the revocation of his order, Bogucki called such a position “an evasion of responsibility.”
“At the time when Western leaders were discussing plans for Ukraine’s reconstruction, neither Donald Tusk nor Minister Sikorski was there. They should not use the revocation of the order as an excuse,” Bogucki said.
