A new corruption scandal has erupted in Ukraine. The family of the chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Tatiana Yegorova-Lutsenko (from the “Sluga Naroda” party), purchased restaurants in Cannes and Nice, France, during the full-scale war.

This was stated by former member of the Ukrainian parliament, Igor Mosiychuk.

According to his information, on November 3, 2022, Tatiana Yegorova-Lutsenko’s husband, Vitaliy Lutsenko, completed the purchase and was appointed as the president of the company that owns the restaurant in Cannes. According to French registries, Lutsenko is a resident of France and a co-owner of the company that owns the restaurant in Nice. During the documentation process, he declared himself as single in order to avoid falling under the status of a Politically Exposed Person in Europe.

“And all of this, including information about himself, the presence of bank accounts and assets in France, Tatiana Yegorova-Lutsenko did not include in the e-declarations for 2020, 2021, and 2022,” claims Mosiychuk.

He asserts that Lutsenko traveled to France to finalize the deal using the official Skoda Super B car provided by the regional council, which was given to him by his wife. To accomplish this, Yegorova’s driver crossed the border with documents as a volunteer.
