Nine out of ten conscripts coming to the territorial recruitment center are not subject to mobilization – Ukrainian MP says

In Ukraine, 90% of conscripts who come to the territorial recruitment centers to update their military registration data under the new law are already reserved or have grounds for deferment and, therefore, are not subject to mobilization.

This was reported by Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Fedienko.

Previously, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that those who are reserved, have the right to deferment, or have received a referral to a military medical commission or a mobilization order must report to the territorial recruitment centers.

Additionally, the ministry disclosed the number of Ukrainians deemed fit for service after updating their data in “Reserve+”.

It was also reported that some students over the age of 25 lose their right to deferment starting July 1. This provision is included in the law tightening mobilization. The deferment remains for men who are enrolled in full-time education.
