One of Ukraine’s largest banks is under hacker attack

Monobank, highly popular among Ukrainian consumers and the population, has faced a major hacking attack.

News portals are publishing screenshots displaying millions of requests from a DDOS attack. The bank’s co-founder, Horokhovskiy, reports that “the attack target is entry points on Amazon (banks and the website).” Nevertheless, according to him, the situation is under control, and the bank continues its operations. Earlier, the mobile operator Kyivstar ceased operations across Ukraine, followed by issues with another major operator, Vodafone. These problems were also attributed to a hacking attack, which they are diligently working to resolve.

Recall that on the eve of the full-scale war beginning on February 14th and 23rd, Ukraine already experienced a significant hacking attack. However, the previous attack targeted government websites and infrastructure.
