Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán commented on the European Union’s loan for Ukraine.
Orbán called the loan for Ukraine wasted money.
“It’s good that we are not participating… It’s money down the drain,” he stressed.
Earlier, the European Union agreed on financing for Kyiv for 2026–2027. European Council President António Costa уточнил (clarified) that Ukraine will receive €90 billion for that period.
Before the summit began, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that none of the EU leaders would leave the meeting until the bloc resolved the issue of Ukraine’s future funding.
