Of the 25 heads of regional medical-social expert commissions, 18 have officially been revealed as millionaires. The wealthiest is the head of the Khmelnytsky Medical-Social Expert Commission, Tatyana Krupa, who is already under criminal investigation.

In 2023, Krupa declared a salary of 661,500 hryvnias and a pension of 166,000 hryvnias. Additionally, she holds 678,000 hryvnias, $15,500, and €32,500 in bank accounts, with cash holdings of 15.2 million hryvnias and $160,000. Her family also owns 16 houses, three apartments, and 40 land plots.

Other significant incomes were declared by Yuliya Danilenko, the chief doctor of the Vinnytsia Regional Medical-Social Expert Commission, and Volodymyr Reshota, head of the Lviv Medical-Social Expert Commission.

Meanwhile, Viktor Pavlushchyk, head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, stated that confiscating the property of these medical-social expert commission leaders is currently impossible; they only face charges related to inaccurate financial disclosures.

“To hold these individuals accountable for illicit enrichment and unjustified assets, amendments to the Criminal Code and the Civil Procedure Code are necessary. We are already working on this and have begun preparing these amendments to fulfill the decision of the National Security and Defense Council,” said the head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention.
