“Peace talks on Ukraine are meaningless without Russia’s participation,” – Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Xavier Bettel

Peace conferences aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine are meaningless without the participation of Moscow’s representatives.

This information reported according to a statement by Luxembourg’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Xavier Bettel.

The foreign diplomat made this remark at the international “Yerevan Dialogue” conference held in the Armenian capital.

“We will need dialogue with Russia. We cannot change our neighbors. Russia will continue to exist as a country, and there is no point in organizing peace conferences without it. If you want a peace conference, it must include Russia, with everyone sitting down at the negotiating table,” stated Luxembourg’s Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel.

It is worth noting that on September 5, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed a desire to see Russian representatives at the second summit aimed at resolving the Ukrainian crisis.
