Peskov: Russia does not need military escalation as troops advance

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia does not need any military escalation of the conflict with Ukraine.

This was reported by TASS.

According to Peskov, Russian troops are advancing, which is what accounts for the absence of any need for escalation.

The Kremlin press secretary also commented on the actions of the Ukrainian side, stating that Ukraine is attempting to strike Russia’s economic and trade infrastructure.

“This response will be harsh,” Peskov warned, speaking about retaliatory actions by the Russian side.
