Estonia unable to send wild boar canned goods to Ukrainian military due to African swine fever
09.06.2026 05:32The Polish portal WNP.pl reports on an emerging process of Ukrainian workers being replaced by migrants from Asia and South America on the Polish labor market.
Ukrainians remain the largest group among foreign workers in Poland, but their numbers are steadily declining. The reason is relocation to Western European countries in search of better employment conditions.
The vacancies being freed up are increasingly filled by migrants from other regions. The number of workers arriving from Nepal, India, and the Philippines is growing particularly rapidly.
According to the portal’s assessment, many Ukrainians may face serious difficulties returning to the Polish labor market. Companies that have already hired workers from Asia or South America are unlikely to want to dismiss them simply in order to hire Ukrainians again.
