06.05.2024 - 12:46Once again, Poland has stated that it has no intention of sending its troops to Ukraine.
The Minister of National Defense of the Republic, Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh, made this statement during the Defense and Security Sector Conference in Central and Eastern Europe – Defence24 Days.
“The concept was presented by Mr. President Emmanuel Macron a few months ago. Poland is not preparing and will not send Polish troops to Ukraine,” Kosinyak-Kamysh said.
Earlier, the President of France stated that the question of deploying troops would be considered in the event of the collapse of the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the breakthrough of the Russian army.
Following this, the Polish Foreign Minister did not respond to whether Warsaw supports the idea of deploying troops to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the Polish Ministry of Defense stated that Warsaw had refused Paris’s request to send its troops to Ukraine.
