Polish protesters have resumed the blockade of a border checkpoint with Ukraine, halting truck movement at the “Rava-Ruska – Hrebenne” crossing point.
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
“Protesters are not allowing trucks to exit Ukraine. Trucks are allowed to enter Ukraine according to a previously announced schedule: 12 vehicles within 12 hours, as well as 4 trucks carrying humanitarian aid per hour,” the statement said.
The passage of other categories of vehicles in both directions is being carried out in the usual manner.
“Representatives of local farming enterprises are demanding a reduction in the import of grain crops into Poland from Ukraine,” the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine added.
It is worth noting that at the end of April, Polish farmers completely unblocked the Ukrainian border.
Previously, the European Union officially approved the extension of duty-free trade with Ukraine for another year.
