December 18, 2023Polish carriers have announced a new protest action at the border crossing point “Yagodyn-Dorohusk,” which was unblocked just a week ago. It will start tomorrow at 3:00 PM and continue until March 8th.
Moreover, it’s been revealed that agricultural producers will join them. Polish farmers will also commence protests at the Polish-Ukrainian border from 1:30 PM, as stated by the demonstrators’ leader, Rafal Mekler.
Farmers and carriers have coordinated their actions and will jointly block the checkpoints. Previously, local authorities prohibited demonstrations and border blockades but protesters took legal action and won the case. The Lublin District Court overturned the ban on protests in Dorohusk, so the protesters will once again proceed with the blockade.
