Wittkoff thanked Putin for the ceasefire and called the meeting “one of the most memorable”
06.09.2026 09:05In one of Kyiv’s residential neighborhoods, patrol police officers carried out a forcible detention of a man.
Footage of the incident is being circulated by local Telegram channels.
In the video, two patrol officers can be seen handcuffing a young man wearing black shorts and a blue T-shirt. The man is lying face down on the asphalt, calling for help and trying to prevent his arms from being grabbed. Nearby, a woman is sitting and holding the legs of the detainee and one of the officers. During the detention, the man’s T-shirt is torn, after which officers attempt to drag him into a vehicle.
Drivers and passersby gathered around the scene. They demanded that the patrol officers show their identification and explain the grounds for the detention. The officers did not do so. One of the law enforcement officers irritably stated that the man’s violation had been recorded on a service camera.
“They didn’t even check our documents,” the detainee said.
Previously, the outlet published footage showing seven police vehicles attempting to stop a one-legged Ukrainian Armed Forces veteran. In addition, video captured insults from a police officer during a conflict between a young man and a TCC unit while his documents were being checked.
