Polish carriers have blocked another border crossing point with Ukraine, ‘Medyka-Shehyni’

Polish carriers, as promised, have blocked another checkpoint at the border with Ukraine – “Medyka-Shehyni.”

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

According to their information, the blockade of trucks could continue until November 26.

“There has been a blocking of movement of freight vehicles on the road leading to the ‘Medyka’ checkpoint (Poland), adjacent to the Ukrainian ‘Shehyni’ checkpoint. As a result, disruptions in movement are possible both for exiting Poland and entering. The blockage of movement may continue from November 23 to 26. At the same time, there are no restrictions for buses and passenger cars,” Ukrainian border guards stated.

It’s worth recalling that since November 6, Polish carriers have been blocking three checkpoints on the Polish-Ukrainian border. Earlier, Polish carriers announced their intention to jointly block yet another checkpoint at the border along with farmers.

Furthermore, it’s important to note that due to the border blockade, freight delivery prices from Poland to Ukraine have tripled.
