Polish farmers, who are blocking the Ukrainian border, have announced that they are extending their protest until April 30, 2024.
Earlier, they announced that the protests would last until March 10. Additionally, Polish farmer unions have announced a major protest action in Warsaw on March 6 at 11:00.
Recall that yesterday, Ukrainian carriers suspended their protest action in Ukraine against the blockade of Polish carriers, which they began on February 15. The action was suspended simultaneously at three border crossings. Ukrainian drivers expressed hope for understanding from Polish farmers and for the strike to be stopped on their part as well.
On Sunday, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that Polish protesters are blocking all six directions at the Ukrainian border.
Volunteers also reported that Polish farmers are blocking vehicles for Ukrainian military personnel at the border and breaking windows in the cars.
