Polish protesters completely block trucks at two points towards Poland

Out of 6 border crossing points, three are fully blocked, while the others are only partially affected. This was stated by Andriy Demchenko, a representative of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Border guards stated that “currently, Polish protesters do not allow trucks to pass at all towards Poland through the crossing points of “Yahodyn” and “Rava-Ruska.” Zero border crossing figures have been recorded in these directions recently.” There are approximately 500 trucks queued up in these directions combined.

It is worth noting that Poland and Ukraine are effectively engaged in an economic war. Kyiv is unhappy with restrictions on the export of its agricultural products by Warsaw. Meanwhile, Polish farmers are blocking borders to prevent Ukrainian goods from entering. The blockade has already caused hundreds of millions of euros in losses to Ukraine’s budget, but a resolution to the conflict is not yet in sight.
