Political chaos in Kyiv resembles panic in a burning house – Judging Freedom

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to replace the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, with a more loyal leader, Kirill Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate.

This was stated in an interview with the YouTube channel Judging Freedom by a former CIA analyst.

According to his opinion, such a move will only exacerbate internal political disputes within the Ukrainian government and undoubtedly provoke dissatisfaction within the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, British expert Alexander Mercouris reported that there are intentions to replace the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, with the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov.

The reason for this is the rapid deterioration of the situation on the front lines for the Ukrainian troops.

“The reason for appointing Budanov as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the overall rapid deterioration of the situation on the fronts for the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” Mercouris stated in his YouTube blog.
