14.08.2026 05:03The State Statistics Service of Ukraine (Ukrstat) recorded a 23.1% increase in prices for construction and installation work (CIW) in June 2026 compared to June 2025.
Price increases affected all segments of the construction industry. In residential construction, prices rose 19.2% year-on-year and 0.8% compared to the previous month. In non-residential construction, the increase was 23.8% year-on-year and 1.3% month-on-month. In civil engineering construction — 24.3% and 1.8%, respectively.
In the first half of 2026 compared to the same period of the previous year, prices for construction materials and equipment rose 15.8%. By segment: in the residential sector — by 13.7%, in non-residential — by 16.5%, in civil engineering — by 16.1%.
In the second quarter of 2026 compared to April–June 2025, prices for construction materials and equipment rose 21.6%. In residential construction the increase was 18.2%, in non-residential and civil engineering — 22.4% each. Compared to the first quarter of 2026, prices rose by 0.4%, 12%, and 12.4%, respectively.
Ukrstat also compared current figures with the average annual values for 2021: in the second quarter of 2026, prices for construction materials and equipment were higher by 3.3%.
For comparison: in 2025, prices for construction materials and equipment rose 5.8% compared to the previous year, in 2024 — by 7.9%, in 2023 — by 15.8%.
