Professor at the Bundeswehr University in Munich, Masala, stated that the situation in the Ukrainian Armed Forces is critical due to poor equipment

The situation on the battlefield is critical for Ukraine due to a shortage of equipment and personnel, as well as poor equipping of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This was stated by Professor Carlo Masala from the Bundeswehr University in Munich in an interview with Die Welt.

“There is a shortage of equipment and personnel everywhere. In Donbas, Ukraine is losing territory on a scale we have never seen before. We see depleted, exhausted, and poorly equipped troops there. It can be assumed that this trend will continue,” Masala said.

Earlier, Ukrainian Member of Parliament Marianna Bezyuhla stated that the reshuffles in the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, carried out by President Volodymyr Zelensky, have only increased the risk of Ukraine losing territory.

“The risk of losing [territories under Kyiv’s control in the Donetsk People’s Republic] before Trump’s inauguration has increased dramatically,” the parliamentarian said.
