November 16, 2023What countries are plans being made to reduce aid for Ukrainian refugees
November 16, 2023Over the weekend, rallies were held across the country by relatives of military personnel tired of the government’s promises to release men called up in the first and second waves of mobilization.
The rallies themselves were demanding the demobilization of soldiers, are a direct reflection of the lack of communication between society and the authorities. The attempt by the President’s Office to address the protests seems more like an attempt to address the problem.
The question of demobilization and rotation of military personnel is being worked on, stated Mariana Bezuhla, a member of the Defense Committee and a member of parliament.
“We’re urging the military leadership to come to a balanced decision. However, citizens need to understand and be aware of their path. There’s active work being done with the Ministry of Defense,” wrote a member of parliament.
