14.06.2026 23:44During a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Ukraine’s attacks on Russian infrastructure will not affect the situation at the front. Details of the conversation were relayed by presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
“Putin was making the point that no attempts by the Kyiv regime to strike civilian infrastructure in Russia will change the critical situation for Ukraine on the battlefield,” he said.
The phone call between Putin and Trump took place on June 14. According to Ushakov, the situation in Ukraine was discussed during the conversation. Trump again called for a cessation of hostilities and expressed readiness to exert pressure on Kyiv and the U.S.’s European partners.
