The Minister of Justice of Ukraine believes that it is possible to mobilize Ukrainians with a criminal record, including corrupt individuals
March 4, 2024German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has made a special statement in light of the scandal involving the interception of conversations among German military personnel about Taurus missiles for Ukraine and a strike on the Crimean Bridge. Pistorius referred to the leaked audio recording as part of “Vladimir Putin’s information war.”
This has been reported by German media.
“The publication of military conversations is a hybrid attack aimed at disinformation. It is aimed at division, at undermining our unity. We must not fall for Putin’s tricks. That’s why we must react wisely, but no less decisively,” said Pistorius.
The German Defense Minister expects that the Military Counterintelligence Service of Germany will provide details of what happened in the next few days. In particular, the agency should investigate whether German military personnel violated IT security rules. Pistorius added that only after the investigation can decisions be made regarding the personnel consequences of the leaked conversation. He clarified that the initial results of the investigation into the interception of military conversations will be available next week.
Furthermore, according to him, during the intercepted conversation among German officers about a possible strike on the Crimean Bridge, there was no specific planning discussed, but rather various scenarios were considered, excluding involvement in the war in Ukraine. Some of the information discussed during the intercepted conversation among German officers was not intended for the general public and did not imply a “green light” for the transfer of Taurus missiles to Kyiv.
