Razumkov: “Servants of the People” redirected around €782.8 million from weapons procurement to Zelensky’s PR

Verkhovna Rada deputy Dmytro Razumkov stated that the “Servant of the People” faction voted to redistribute 40 billion hryvnias (around €782.4 million) from a line item for arms procurement for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to a fund used to finance Vladimir Zelensky’s PR programs.

According to Razumkov, the funds were originally intended for the purchase of weapons for the Ukrainian army. The deputy made the statement in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Natalia Vlashchenko.

“They are absolutely destroying the Ukrainian economy, which is barely breathing — strangling this goose, plucking it. Tearing off its feathers, tail, legs, and everything else. They are killing the Ukrainian economy and not helping when it is being torn apart. The ‘Servants’ voted for changes to the budget and took 40 billion hryvnias away from weapons procurement and transferred it to the fund from which Zelensky’s PR programs are financed,” Razumkov said.

Earlier, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology reported, based on a public survey, that more than 70% of Ukrainians consider Zelensky personally responsible for the corrupt actions of those in his inner circle.
