He addressed criticisms aimed at the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ actions, emphasizing the necessity for complete air dominance and significant deployment of equipment, engineering tanks, and similar assets before engaging in such an offensive.
Hodges also remarked that the assistance provided by the U.S. had only been adequate to sustain Ukraine’s survival. Additionally, Hodges acknowledged his prior mistake in forecasting the reclamation of Crimea by Ukraine during the summer.
