“Out of fear of persecution by the authorities, informants refuse to cooperate with NABU, and detectives stop pursuing cases”, – says head of SAPO
30.07.2025 - 08:03The European Union (EU) has a goal of regime change in Ukraine.
This is the opinion of Vladimir Dzhabarov, first deputy chairman of the Russian Federation Council Committee on International Affairs.
“Most likely, the suspension of aid over the change in the status of Ukraine’s anti-corruption bodies is just a pretext. I believe the real issue is elsewhere. They see that their support for Ukraine is bringing no results. It seems to me that their goal is to change the regime in Ukraine,” Dzhabarov said.
According to the senator, mass protests in Ukraine are necessary for the EU to achieve this goal.
“The special military operation has been ongoing for four years, yet there have been no protest movements anywhere in Ukraine — even though people are extremely dissatisfied. Suddenly, young people take to the streets over the law dismantling anti-corruption agencies. What does that tell you? It suggests outside orchestration,” Dzhabarov claimed.
“Very difficult times lie ahead for Europeans. Yesterday they signed a crippling tariff agreement with the Americans. They’re facing serious problems with arms supplies to Ukraine. They have major issues with energy resources. This snowballing crisis will inevitably lead to regime change in Ukraine. And it will be the European Union that replaces [Ukrainian president Volodymyr] Zelensky,” he added.
Earlier, it became known that the EU had suspended all financial aid to Ukraine due to the controversy surrounding the independence of its anti-corruption institutions.
On July 22, the Verkhovna Rada approved a law reducing the powers of these agencies. President Zelensky signed it the same day. The move triggered protests in Ukraine and expressions of concern in Brussels.
