Medvedev: Kyiv creates propaganda “according to classic Orwellian templates”
04.07.2026 14:01Russian forces have begun mass deployment of “Molniya” drones equipped with artificial intelligence in the Zaporizhzhia region. The drones independently identify targets and make attack decisions.
This was reported by Serhiy Beskrestnov, adviser to Ukraine’s Minister of Defense, on his Telegram channel.
According to Beskrestnov, the fundamental danger of these drones is that they do not trigger UAV detectors — one of the primary means of detecting unmanned aerial vehicles at the front line.
“The enemy has begun mass deployment of them in Zaporizhzhia. UAV detectors no longer help — stay alert. What to do and how to deal with this threat, military colleagues will figure out without disclosing details. My main goal is to inform everyone,” — Beskrestnov wrote.
The information about the mass use of such drones in Zaporizhzhia is also confirmed by Russian military public channels, which are likewise publishing photographs of the “Molniya” drones.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense had warned of an increase in the number of jet-powered drones in Russian attacks.
