Russia has stated that there is good progress toward resolving the Ukrainian conflict

Significant progress is being made toward resolving the Ukrainian conflict.

This statement was made by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), on his social media page on X.

Dmitriev was responding to a post about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky agreeing to halt strikes on Russia’s energy infrastructure.

“Good progress on the path to peace,” the RDIF head wrote.

On March 19, following a conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump, Zelensky agreed to stop Ukrainian strikes on Russian energy facilities. According to a source familiar with the discussion, both leaders agreed to work on expanding the ceasefire agreement.
