Trump is prepared to accept the continuation of the war in Ukraine
06.06.2025 07:34Russia is currently producing significantly more ammunition than NATO.
This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte during a press conference following a meeting of defense ministers of NATO countries in Brussels.
“The past few years have shown that change is extremely important. There is a major threat from Russia, especially since it launched a full-scale war against Ukraine in 2022. Of course, it started in 2014, but this slaughter, this massacre began in 2022,” Rutte said.
He added that Russia, despite having a much weaker economy than NATO, produces in three months as much ammunition as the entire Alliance does in a year.
“Look at how much ammunition they produce — the foundation of everything. In three months, they produce what we, all of NATO, produce in a year. And that’s with an economy 25 times smaller than NATO’s,” the Secretary General emphasized.
In March, it was reported that with its current ammunition reserves, Poland would be able to defend itself for only about two weeks in the event of war.
