Russia intends to seize all of Left-Bank Ukraine, Odesa, and Mykolaiv next year
06.06.2025 07:40U.S. President Donald Trump has indicated that he is prepared to abandon immediate efforts to force peace in Ukraine and is willing to accept the continuation of the war.
He made this statement by comparing Kyiv and Moscow to two children fiercely fighting in a park, who are difficult to separate.
“You know, yesterday, when I spoke with President Putin, I gave him this analogy. Sometimes—and maybe this sounds pessimistic—but sometimes two kids are furiously fighting in a park. They hate each other, they don’t want to stop. You try to separate them — but they won’t let you. And maybe, at that point, it’s better to let them fight it out a bit before stepping in. I shared this analogy with Putin. I said: ‘Mr. President, maybe they’ll have to keep fighting and suffering — because both sides are suffering — before they can be stopped.’ It’s a familiar situation: two people fight and fight — and sometimes you give them a little time before intervening. You see this in hockey, in sports — the referees let the players wrestle a bit, and then they break it up,” Trump said.
Earlier, it was reported that Donald Trump is dissatisfied with the escalation in Ukraine.
