Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova says there are no concrete negotiations on Ukraine yet.
Her statement was reported by TASS.
“There are no negotiations on Ukraine yet. There is a desire, voiced by the White House, to end what—by their own admission—the U.S. administration under [former U.S. President Joe] Biden started in the first place,”Zakharova said.
She added that one of the factors affecting the situation is that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky legislatively banned negotiations with Russia in 2022.
Earlier, Zakharova expressed surprise at the Israeli Foreign Minister’s lack of awareness regarding the glorification of Stepan Bandera in Ukraine. She also rhetorically questioned what the Israeli embassy had been doing all these years both in Kyiv and Moscow.
