In peace agreement to end the war, Russia demands formal recognition of Crimea and four Ukrainian regions as its territory
07.07.2025 - 11:36Russia has claimed the capture of the village of Dachne — the first settlement in the Dnipropetrovsk region that Moscow has reported taking.
This was announced by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
However, Ukraine has not confirmed this information. According to the Deep State interactive map, the village still appears to be under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU).
The Russian Ministry of Defense also claims to have captured the village of Bessalivka in the Sumy region, located near the Russian border in the Tiotkino area of Kursk Oblast. Ukrainian forces had previously attempted to isolate this area.
Based on Deep State’s battlefield data, Ukrainian attempts to encircle Tiotkino had been carried out from the direction of Bessalivka, making it a strategically contested zone.
Still, Ukrainian authorities have not confirmed the loss of either village.
It’s worth noting that reports of Russian forces entering Dachne surfaced as early as last week. Video footage circulated online showed Russian troops occupying dugouts and raising Russian flags, suggesting a presence on the ground in Dachne, Dnipropetrovsk region.
Russian military-affiliated channels claimed the village was fully under Russian control.
However, Ukraine’s General Staff issued a statement denying the loss of Dachne, refuting that it had become the first village in the Dnipropetrovsk region to fall into Russian hands.
