25.04.2024 11:55Russian forces continue to advance on the Avdiivka direction following the breakthrough near Ocheretyno. They are moving into the village of Solovevo south of Ocheretyno.
This was reported by DeepState.
According to a map from a Ukrainian military public page, the village of Solovevo is approximately one-third captured. Russian sources claim that Solovevo is almost entirely occupied up to the southwest outskirts. Ukraine has not confirmed this.
Movements in the Solovevo area and the neighboring Novomakhmutivka pose a direct threat to the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in Berdychiv, which risk being bypassed from the northwest.
This direction could be used to turn south and attempt to encircle territories west of Avdiivka – the Uman area and water bodies where the UAF is currently trying to organize a new defensive line. Now, following the breakthrough near Ocheretyno, there is a threat that Russian forces could penetrate the rear of this line.
Ukrainian military expert Konstantin Mashovets believes that Russian forces have apparently already occupied the northwest outskirts of Ocheretyno.
Earlier reports indicated that the Russian Federation has significantly advanced in Krasnohorivka. Judging by the map, fighting is already taking place in close proximity to the largest enterprise in Krasnohorivka – the refractory plant.
