25.04.2024 09:45Russia is filling warehouses with weapons and ammunition, producing more than it is using in Ukraine.
This was stated by the German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, as reported by N-TV.
Pistorius believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin may be preparing for a new attack.
“A large part or a portion of what is currently being produced is no longer going to the front lines but is ending up in warehouses. One could be naive and say that he is doing this purely out of caution. As a skeptic, I would rather say that in this case, he is doing it because he is planning something or perhaps has something in mind,” Pistorius stated.
Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated that compared to Russian military production, “something is not right” with Western military production. According to him, the peak of Western military-industrial production is not expected until the end of 2024, while the war will continue into the next year.
It was also reported that Chinese companies are assisting Russia in military production for the war in Ukraine. They provide unmanned and missile technologies, satellite images and machinery for weapons production.
