The Russian army has expanded its foothold on the left bank of the Oskol River to the north of Kupiansk in Kharkiv region.

This is confirmed by a map from the military Telegram channel Deep State.

The area of Russian control and the gray zone of fighting have expanded by more than a kilometer.

Meanwhile, both Ukrainian and Russian military channels report that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have completed the clearing of Kupiansk.

It is worth recalling that Russian paratroopers unexpectedly entered the city two weeks ago. At that time, authorities claimed that they had been eliminated.

However, Deep State reports that the clearing operation was only completed now. This is also confirmed by pro-Russian channels. They state that the advance into the northeastern outskirts of the city was possible due to “confusion” during the rotation of Ukrainian forces, but the Russians were unable to secure their position there.
