Zelenskyy proposed for the “Order of Judas”
01.07.2026 05:32The situation is becoming increasingly difficult for Ukraine’s Defence Forces in the Sloviansk direction.
This was reported by military observer Bohdan Miroshnykov.
“Our presence in the area of Kryva Luka and Zakytne is still being maintained. But this could lead to a tragedy, because our troops are trapped between the river on one side and the enemy on the other. There is no logistics there anymore. Fighting continues in the southern, eastern and central parts of Rai-Oleksandrivka. Unfortunately, without reinforcing the positions and withdrawing certain units that are holding specific points on the map, there will be serious trouble there and a retreat toward the Sloviansk Thermal Power Plant, in the town of Mykolaivka. And then, well, you understand. It would mean the evacuation of the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration and the beginning of direct fighting for both cities,” he wrote.
Yesterday, the Russian advance near Zakytne was also confirmed by the military monitoring group DeepState, which published an updated map of the fighting.
Earlier reports indicated that Russian forces were advancing toward Mykolaivka, a key settlement on the defensive line east of Sloviansk.
Bloomberg had also previously reported that the position of Ukraine’s Armed Forces in Sloviansk and Kramatorsk was deteriorating.
