05.03.2026 17:01Slovakia’s electricity transmission system operator, SEPS, is terminating its emergency power-supply contract with Ukraine’s grid operator Ukrenergo.
This was reported by SEPS CEO Martin Magat, according to Pravda.
He explained that the decision was made by the government.
“I can’t say whether I agree with it or not,” Magat added.
According to him, Ukraine last used emergency supplies from Slovakia in January.
The Slovak government approved the termination of the agreement on Wednesday, March 4.
