Ukrainian teenager from Kherson region, listed as missing, is fighting for Russia
10.08.2026 06:32State Duma Defense Committee member Kolesnik demanded that the drone attack on Nizhnekamsk be answered with massive strikes against Ukraine’s critical infrastructure and leadership. His words were reported by News.ru.
According to the lawmaker, Russia must “sever logistics once and for all” — not only at the port of Odessa, but also destroy “deployment and assembly sites, logistics centers.” The deputy stated that the time has come to act “harshly,” so that it is clear “that everything is serious.”
“We also need to strike decision-making centers — we will get there eventually. We know where decisions are made. Such strikes will have to be carried out. We need to hit the people who make decisions, to deliver a serious blow so that everyone feels — no one is safe,” the deputy said.
The drone attack on Nizhnekamsk took place on the morning of August 10. The press service of Tatarstan head Rustam Minnikhanov reported that industrial and civilian facilities were targeted. Minnikhanov ordered the prompt elimination of the consequences of the attack and the provision of all necessary assistance to the wounded.
Additional teams of medical workers were dispatched from Naberezhnye Chelny to support the city’s medical services. The republic declared mourning.
