02.07.2026 10:31The Armed Forces of Ukraine will begin to feel a shortage of weapons following strikes on targets in Kyiv and other regions not immediately, but in approximately one to two weeks.
This forecast was given in an exclusive comment to aif.ru by Hero of Russia, Major General Sergei Lipovoy.
According to Russia’s Ministry of Defense, several facilities were struck during the nighttime attack on Kyiv: the Radionikx plant, which produces guidance systems for Flamingo missiles; the Atlon Avia plant, which manufactures Lyuty drones; the Antonov state enterprise, an aircraft industry assembly facility; the Chaika transport and logistics center, where drones and ammunition were stored; as well as a number of other facilities.
The attack was carried out using Geran drones, Iskander-M operational-tactical missiles, Zircon hypersonic missiles, and Kh-101 cruise missiles. According to the source, this attack was one of the most massive in recent times.
“The Kyiv regime has accumulated sufficient offensive means for today — for the next week or two, perhaps, it will be enough. After that, a shortage of ammunition, unmanned aerial vehicles, precision weapons, and so on will begin to make itself felt, even despite NATO continuing to supply weapons,” Lipovoy said.
The general clarified that the shortage will not manifest immediately, as the Ukrainian side still retains its stockpiles.
“But the effect will not be felt right today, while supplies are still available,” he added.
Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that the United States had warned Ukraine’s leadership of a possible massive bombardment within the next 72 hours.
