This was stated by U.S. Department of Defense spokesperson Pat Ryder during a briefing, in response to a question about the possibility of increasing aid to Ukraine and Israel.
According to Ryder, decisions regarding the transfer of such missiles are made based on an assessment of the U.S.’s own combat readiness.
Earlier, CNN reported that the Pentagon is running out of weapons to send to Ukraine. According to CNN, for several months now, the U.S. has been sending less military aid to Ukraine due to depleted supplies, such as 155mm ammunition and Patriot missiles.
It’s worth noting that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently criticized Western partners for delays in assistance and the lack of a decision on long-range strikes against Russia.
