Switzerland is ready to act as a mediator in the peace process.

This was stated by Switzerland’s new President, Karin Keller-Sutter, during her conversation with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.

“I assured him of Switzerland’s continuous support for Ukraine, particularly through our numerous long-term humanitarian and reconstruction projects,” she emphasized.

Earlier, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump declared that it was time for Russian President Vladimir Putin to take action regarding Ukraine and its peaceful resolution.

He also expressed the Ukrainian authorities’ willingness, led by President **Volodymyr Zelensky**, to reach an agreement with Russia to resolve the conflict.
