TCC personnel mobilize screaming, half-dressed priest in Volyn

In Volyn region, personnel from the territorial recruitment center mobilized the rector of the Church of St. John the Merciful in the village of Lubche — a priest of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The footage shows military commissars grabbing the man by his arms and legs and dragging him into a minibus. During the incident, the clergyman was half-dressed and screaming loudly. Women who witnessed the scene were standing nearby and filmed what happened.

The man’s identity was established by local community pages: according to their information, he turned out to be the rector of the Church of St. John the Merciful in the village of Lubche.

This case is not the only one. It was previously reported that TCC representatives in Kyiv mobilized a priest from the Holy Trinity Kitaevo Monastery and sent him to a distribution center.

Since February 2022, a general mobilization of the male population has been underway in Ukraine.
