The advance of Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine has accelerated thanks to jamming-resistant drones, – Financial Times

The reason for the accelerated advance of Russian troops in Ukraine is the appearance of jamming-resistant drones on the front line.

The Financial Times has reported on what has contributed to the successes of the Russian Armed Forces (RAF).

“These drones are arriving at the front in increasing numbers and are immune to Ukrainian electronic warfare systems — hardware jamming only works against wireless devices,” the publication states.

A commander of a Ukrainian drone unit told the newspaper that soldiers sometimes have to walk up to 15 kilometers at night to reach their positions, as vehicles are being tracked along the entire front line.

Russia’s advance has been particularly rapid in the Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions, while the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are facing logistical difficulties.

Previously, it was reported that the AFU made new attempts to break into the territory of the Kursk region. They are trying to breach Russian defenses in the border area of the Glushkovsky district.
