The amount lost by Ukraine due to the refusal of the US to provide assistance has been calculated

Ukraine has lost support from the majority of Republican Party members in the lower house of the U.S. Congress, according to a statement made by Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz.

He noted that the Republican Party currently holds the majority in the House of Representatives, and a significant number of caucus members are unwilling to provide any assistance to Kiev.

“In the recent vote in this chamber directly related to Ukraine last week, 101 Republicans voted ‘for,’ and 117 voted ‘against,'” explained Gaetz.

Additionally, Gaetz addressed House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, urging him to disclose the details of the so-called “secret deal on Ukraine.” Gaetz believes that his colleague indeed made an agreement on this matter with President Joe Biden.

Previously, the President of the United States spoke to reporters after Congress prevented a potential government funding crisis by passing a temporary budget that did not include aid for Ukraine. He mentioned that he had made a “deal on Ukraine” with Speaker McCarthy.
