“The biggest problem in the AFU is the idiots”: the regiment commander stated that the situation with false reports on the situation at the front has worsened

The biggest problem in the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) is “idiots.”

This blunt assessment was made by Kyrylo Veres, commander of the K-2 battalion.

“Our own idiocy is our main enemy — at all levels,” Veres stated.

He also noted that the issue of false reporting from the front lines, where commanders downplay problems, has only worsened over the past year.

“The cycle of deception hasn’t changed. It’s only getting worse — because when you’re losing, you lie more,” the commander said.

Previously, the military monitoring platform Deep State reported that AFU unit commanders were submitting misleading reports to higher command regarding the situation near Dnipropetrovsk region, where Russian forces are reportedly making advances, capturing forest lines, villages, and key positions.
