The Bundestag once again did not support the demand for the German government to send Taurus missiles to Ukraine.
190 deputies voted for the resolution, while 495 voted against it. This is already the third negative vote on similar resolutions. Although earlier the Bundestag supported the call to provide long-range weapons to Ukraine, the German government ignored it.
On the eve, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz again spoke out against supplying Taurus to Ukraine, even without the involvement of German military personnel. According to the head of the German government, the transfer of long-range weapons to Ukraine is a “line in the sand” for him.
