Ukrainian manufacturers also cannot access foreign markets because the relevant licenses have not been issued to them for two years. However, they assure that if they were allowed there, they could compete with Russia.
Furthermore, Western armaments are more expensive in most cases than those produced in Ukraine. However, Kyiv has to choose what to procure from the list of everything the army needs. Often, Ukrainian-made weapons are not a priority, the publication writes.
