“The exhausted and depleted 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, which barely made it out of Vuhledar, was immediately sent to new positions”, – journalist reported
October 4, 2024The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has shortened the time frame for reporting to territorial recruitment centers after receiving a summons from military commissars, reducing it from 14 days to 7-10 days.
This change is outlined in a new government resolution adopted on October 1.
According to the document, an amendment has been made to point 34 of the procedure for conscription during mobilization in a special period. The amendment replaces the phrase “no earlier than the fourteenth day” with “from a settlement that is an administrative center of a region, determined within seven days, and from other settlements within ten days.”
This means that residents of regional centers now have 7 days to report to the recruitment centers, while residents from other areas have 10 days.
Additionally, the Cabinet of Ministers recently submitted a draft law to the Verkhovna Rada, proposing that 17-year-old conscripts be required to register through the “Reserve+” system or by physically appearing at territorial recruitment centers.
